First, I wanted the darkest color pink sapphires they had in order to match some jewelry that I had given to my sister who was on hospice. Also, because I know you have to buy good quality diamonds if you want them to sparkle. Unfortunately, the pink sapphires are a shade lighter than they look like in the picture, so they don’t match the jewelry I gave my sister. However, the ring is very pretty.
