Our son was born right on Mother's Day 3 years ago, so Mother's Day is an extra special day for us. Emerald is the birthstone for May so she feels even more connected to our son when she wears this. The emerald itself is very beautiful and good size. Inclusions are visible, but that is expected with natural emeralds. The diamonds really help accentuate the beautiful green color. If I could, I'd subtract 1/2 of one star because the chain that comes with it is too delicate, in my opinion. I ended up separately buying a more robust white gold spiga (adjustable) chain to go with it. Still, very happy with this beautiful pendant.
